Hey! So, Coming Out Day is coming up soon (Oct. 11) and I just want to post a very stern reminder to NOT out anyone without their explicit permission.
Do NOT out anyone.
this is also a less important point, but still worth noting: DO NOT “come out” as an ally. don’t you dare.
Also - don’t feel pressured to come out. You don’t have an obligation to put yourself in an unsafe situation for any reason.
I’m still excited when I get a new follower.
I’m still happy when a post of mine actually gets notes.
And I still appreciate each and every one of you who continues to follow me no matter how silly, or annoying, or weird I am.

So, I paint my nails pretty regularly these days. I also work as a barista/cashier pretty regularly these days. A few weeks back, I had a customer come in, a fairly typical, sheltered, suburban soccer mom, and she ordered a latte from me. She saw my brightly colored nails and said, “Wow, you’re so brave! My son asked me about painting his nails, and if it’s okay for boys to do that. Now I’ll tell him there’s a cool guy who does it too!” It was a nice moment, very cute.
Then, last week, she came in again, and said, “Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! I want you to meet someone!” She then brings her son forward, and says, “Okay sweetie, show him what you did!” And he throws his hands up, showing off his bright, sparkling blue nails. He shows them off, and I show mine off to him. He smiles. We fist bump.
Guys, I’ve only wanted to cry once at work before, and that was when someone ordered a large dry soy cappuccino on ice.
This time, though. This was a good cry.
me confirmed for “very gay for pokemon girls”
gay update: still gay, probably more so
"Ew you’re a guy and like the color pink are you gay?"
I’ve been waiting for this post all my life
I need feminism because…
My mother’s co-worker (male) threatened to quit his job because my mom was his boss.
(My mom still is in her position of being his boss after refusing to change her position, although some people urged her to do so.)
